The 2023-2024 snowmobile season is now over!

PRESS RELEASE

End of the 2023-2024 snowmobile season

Terrebonne, April 24 avril 2024 – The Fédération des clubs de motoneigistes du Québec (FCMQ) wishes to inform you of the end of the 2023-2024 snowmobile season. This year, in conditions that could not have been more difficult or unpredictable, the volunteers from the 197 member clubs of the FCMQ rose to Mother Nature's challenge by doing a remarkable job to keep the trails open and in the best possible condition.

The FCMQ, with its clubs and volunteers, is currently preparing for next season to maintain the 33,000 km of trails across the province. The trail permit platform is currently closed for purchases until the launch of the 2024-2025 permits. It remains open, however, for consulting or modifying your profile.

During the summer, the 2023-2024 interactive map is available for consultation. Please note that the trail routes will be updated in autumn 2024. The FCMQ would like to remind you that access to snowmobile trails is not permitted during the summer period or when the trails are closed by the clubs, due in particular to the expiry of land-use permission agreements with landowners and various ministries. Please respect these rights, which are essential for the long-term survival of the trail network.

On behalf of the Federation and its member clubs, we would like to express our deep gratitude to our valued volunteers and snowmobiling members. It is thanks to your dedication and support that we are able to maintain and secure an impressive 33,000 km network of trails across Quebec.

Together, we form a dynamic and supportive community, ready to overcome challenges and continue to make snowmobiling an exceptional experience for all. Thank you for your continued commitment and passion for this activity.

Make the most of the summer ahead and see you next winter for new adventures on the snowy trails!
