During International Snowmobile Safety Week, the FCMQ, in partnership with Univesta Insurance and Financial Services, is stepping up its awareness efforts to remind snowmobilers of the importance of adopting responsible and safe behaviours on the trails.

From January 9 to 17, 2027, various initiatives will be carried out across Quebec. During this period, an increased presence of club patrol officers and trail security officers will provide opportunities to connect with snowmobilers, promote safe riding practices and help ensure the safety of everyone using the trail network.

The Sûreté du Québec will also increase its presence on the trails through coordinated operations conducted jointly with the FCMQ to promote safe and responsible snowmobiling.

Obeying trail signs and speed limits, keeping to the right side of the trail, wearing an appropriate helmet, riding sober and according to conditions, staying alert and being courteous: every action counts toward making our trails as safe as possible.

The FCMQ and Univesta are proud to join forces to reinforce an essential message: on the trails, safety is everyone’s responsibility!
