The purpose of this Act is to regulate the use and operation of off-highway vehicles both on land in the public domain and on private land.

Regulation respecting off-highway vehicles and Regulation respecting snowmobiles

The Regulation respecting snowmobiles (R.R.Q., 1981, chapter C-24, r.21) and the Regulation respecting off-highway vehicles made by Order in Council 1222-2004 dated 21 December 2004 are deemed to be regulations made under the Act respecting off highway vehicles to the extent that they are consistent herewith, and each of their provision is deemed to be a provision determined under subparagraph 15 of the first paragraph of section 46, the violation of which constitutes an offence.
