On the South Shore of the Gulf of St Lawrence, the Lower St Lawrence region is essentially a part of the Appalachians. It is a place to discover incredible panoramas in the mountains of the back country on trails through mixed-growth forest.

REGIONAL INFORMATION
Location:
To the East of Quebec City, on the South Shore of the St-Lawrence, bordering the State of Maine and New-Brunswick.
Served mainly by Autoroute 20 from Montreal to Quebec City, and Highways 132 and 185 from New Brunswick. It is possible to access the trail network from different points close to these highways.
Principal cities: Rivière-du-Loup – Rimouski - Trois-Pistoles - La Pocatière – Squatec – Dégelis - Cabano
